Organizing Your Interclub Structure¶
Best Practices for Levels¶
- Group similar competitive tiers - Keep teams of similar skill levels together
- Define clear promotion/relegation rules - Use the promotion parameter to enable automatic movement between levels
- Set appropriate team sizes - Adjust the number of players per team based on competitive level
- Consider scheduling needs - Use the meeting day parameter to avoid conflicts between levels
Best Practices for Leagues¶
- Balance league sizes - Aim for a similar number of teams in each league within a level
- Geographic considerations - Although not used in Swiss Squash, regional grouping can reduce travel for teams
- Consistent rules within levels - Keep league-specific parameters aligned within the same competitive level
