Organizing Your Interclub Structure

Best Practices for Levels

  1. Group similar competitive tiers - Keep teams of similar skill levels together
  2. Define clear promotion/relegation rules - Use the promotion parameter to enable automatic movement between levels
  3. Set appropriate team sizes - Adjust the number of players per team based on competitive level
  4. Consider scheduling needs - Use the meeting day parameter to avoid conflicts between levels

Best Practices for Leagues

  1. Balance league sizes - Aim for a similar number of teams in each league within a level
  2. Geographic considerations - Although not used in Swiss Squash, regional grouping can reduce travel for teams
  3. Consistent rules within levels - Keep league-specific parameters aligned within the same competitive level
