Signing in and recovering your password

You sign in to MySquash with your login and your password. The login is a short name of its own, chosen when your account was created (for example amorgan): it is not your e-mail address. This page explains how to get a new password and where to find your login again.

Your login is not your e-mail address

  • The Login field of the sign-in page only accepts lowercase letters, numbers, periods, hyphens and underscores. An e-mail address is refused with the message "Allowed characters: lowercase letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), periods (.), hyphens (-), and underscores (_)".
  • One e-mail address can be shared by several accounts, such as a parent and their children. The login tells them apart.

Getting a new password

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot your username or password?
  2. Enter your e-mail address and click Send.
  3. MySquash confirms the request. Check your inbox, and your spam folder: the e-mail is titled "MySquash - Reset your password".
  4. The e-mail contains the line Reminder of your login: this is the name you sign in with. Note it down.
  5. Click the link in the e-mail. It opens the Password change page: type your New password (a bar shows how strong it is), type it again under Confirm, then click Validate.
  6. Sign in with your login, the one from the e-mail, and your new password.

Enter your e-mail address

The field is labelled Login or e-mail, but it currently only accepts an e-mail address: a login is refused with the message "Invalid e-mail address".

  • The link works only once.
  • It expires during the night after the request, even though the confirmation page mentions 24 hours.
  • Each new request replaces the previous one: only the link in the latest e-mail is valid.

If the link no longer works, simply ask again.

Special cases

  • An address shared by several accounts: MySquash also asks for your Last name and First Name, to know which account to send the e-mail to. It then returns to the home page without a confirmation message; the e-mail is sent all the same.
  • An unknown address, or an account without an e-mail address: contact Swiss Squash, who can tell you your login and update your address.
