Mini-league parameters¶
This page describes the mini-league configuration parameters accessible from Mini-leagues > Club parameters. For an introduction to the concepts (sessions, divisions, pools, redistribution), see Mini-leagues: concepts.
The parameters are organized into two sections:
- Global parameters: common to all mini-leagues in the club, applied immediately
- Default session parameters: default values used when creating new mini-leagues (individually modifiable afterwards)
Global parameters¶
These parameters apply to all mini-leagues in the club. Any change takes effect immediately for ongoing mini-leagues.
Automatic calculation¶
Players without matches¶
Determines how players who have not played any match during a session are handled.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Relegate | The player is relegated to the lower pool at the end of the session |
| Remove | The player is removed from the mini-league |
Default value: Relegate
Leavers as relegable¶
Determines how players who left the mini-league during a session affect relegation.
- Yes: leavers are placed in last position, then removed. They "consume" relegation slots, which protects active players from being relegated.
- No: leavers keep their ranking position, then are removed. Active players at the bottom of the ranking are relegated normally.
Example
Pool of 4 players, 1 relegation slot. David (2nd in the ranking) leaves during the session.
- Yes: David is forced to 4th position (last) → he occupies the relegation slot → Bob (3 pts, last active) stays in the division.
- No: David keeps his 2nd place then is removed → Bob remains last among active players → Bob is relegated.
Default value: No
Shuffle players¶
Controls the display order of players in pools during redistribution between sessions.
- Yes: players are randomly shuffled within each pool
- No: players keep a deterministic order based on their origin (promoted, maintained, relegated) and their ranking from the previous session
Note
Each player faces all other players in their pool. The display order has no impact on the matches to be played.
Default value: Yes
Full page¶
Refresh interval¶
Automatic refresh interval for the full-page display (kiosk mode).
- Range: 1 to 60 minutes
- Default value: 5 minutes
Recording¶
Recording type¶
Determines how scores are recorded.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Online | Scores are published immediately and visible to all players |
| Draft | Scores are saved as draft and must be manually validated |
Default value: Online
Ranking¶
Ranking filters¶
Allows configuring the criteria used to break ties in the mini-league ranking. Filters are ordered by priority via drag and drop.
Available filters are moved from the left column (available filters) to the right column (selected filters). The order in the right column determines the priority.
Default session parameters¶
These parameters serve as default values when creating new mini-leagues. They can be individually modified on each mini-league after creation.
General¶
Number of players per draw¶
Maximum number of players in each pool.
- Range: 2 to 15 players
- Default value: 4
Constrain¶
During the end-of-session switchover, a pool with fewer players than expected is not redistributed to the upper pools. This preserves the pool structure even when players leave the mini-league.
Default value: No
Periodicity¶
Duration¶
Duration of a mini-league session.
- Value: number + unit (days, weeks or months)
- Default value: 1 month
Automatic renewal¶
When enabled, a new session is automatically created at the end of the current session, with players redistributed into pools according to their results.
Default value: Yes
Review period¶
Number of days after the end of a session during which the manager can still make corrections before the automatic switchover.
- Range: 1 to 3 days
- Default value: 1 day
End reminder¶
Number of days before the end of the session when a reminder is sent to players.
- Range: 1 to 9 days
- Default value: 5 days
Scores¶
Scoring system¶
Match format in the mini-league.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Best of 5 | Matches in 5 games (first to 3) |
| Best of 3 | Matches in 3 games (first to 2) |
Default value: Best of 5
Score validation period¶
Number of days the opponent has to confirm or contest a submitted score.
- Range: 1 to 5 days
- Default value: 3 days
Action on expiry¶
Determines what happens when a submitted score has not been validated by the opponent within the allowed period.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Validate | The score is automatically accepted |
| Reject | The score is automatically rejected |
Default value: Validate

Point customization
All point scales are fully configurable. The values shown above are the default values. Each value can be adjusted between 0 and 9 points.
